Type Locality:
1,269.5-1,345.7 m (4,165-4,415 ft), Imperial Island River No. 1, 60 deg 09' 18"N, 121 deg 18'16"W, N.W.T.

Distribution:
About 75 m (246 ft) thick. Occurs in northeastern British Columbia, north of 57 deg N, west to about 123 deg W and adjacent N.W.T. to 61 deg N between 119 deg and 123 deg W.

Locality Data:
WELL 300G506010121000; ISLAND RIVER NO. 1 (G-50). Interval(m): From 1269.5, To 1345.7.

Lithology:
Light coloured, fine-grained limestone, shale partings, becomes silty towards the base.

Relationship:
Conformable contacts with overlying Kotcho Fm and underlying Trout River and Fort Simpson formations. To the east it equates with the lower part of the Wabamun Gp; west of about 123 deg the shale equivalent is part of the Besa River Fm.
